MECHATRONICS & ROBOTICS
Mechatronics is rapidly emerging field that combines mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering. Mechatronic system uses the abilities of computer or microprocessor based automatic control to enhance the operation of mechanical systems. Mechatronics is often associated with robotic systems but can also be found in applications ranging from automobiles to electric toothbrushes. As more and more industries are expanding their implementations of mechatronic systems, there is an increasing demand for engineers with the multidisciplinary expertise to design these types of systems.
