Health services for students and employees are provided by the university polyclinic and health center located on campus. International students need to buy the medical insurance upon arrival, which costs 4,000 rubles (about 57 USD) a year.
Izhevsk has a developed transport network: buses, trolleybuses, trams and taxis.
