The department trains master students in study program «Mechanics and Mathematical Modeling» (major: «Continuum Mechanics»).
The purpose of the program is to train highly qualified specialists possessing both theoretical and practical knowledge, and professional skills in:
- modern challenges in mechanics;
- theoretical hydromechanics of Newtonian media;
- continuum mechanics;
- deformation of viscoelastic media;
- parallel programming;
- task-level programming packages;
- experimental aeromechanics.
Due to the multidisciplinary education, master graduates are able to develop and operate new products, processes and systems demanded by the market.
