International students of Kalashnikov ISTU at XV Annual Championship in Futsal
The football team of international students of Kalashnikov ISTU took part in XV Annual Championship in Futsal among national and cultural communities of the Udmurt Republic which was hosted by Sport Co-Work “Arena” on 26 February.
The championship was opened with the teams’ parade, performance of the drummers’ ensemble “Dvin” and choreographic composition of young gymnasts of the center “Briol”. The participants were welcomed by the Minister of National Policy of the Udmurt Republic E.S. Petrov and leaders of national and cultural centers of the Udmurt Republic.
19 teams took part in the international tournament. The athletes represented 7 national and cultural communities of our republic. 8 teams of international students of higher educational institutions of the Udmurt Republic also participated in the championship, including Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University, Udmurt State University and Izhevsk State Medical Academy.
