On December 2 Kalashnikov ISTU and Weihai Marine Vocational College (People’s Republic of China) signed the agreement of cooperation.

Acting Rector of Kalashnikov ISTU Aleksandr Gubert, Vice-Rector for Studies Olga Varfolomeeva, Director of Institute of International Study Programs Alexey Ryabchikov and Director of Center of Academic International Cooperation Tatiana Savchenko took part in the online signing ceremony from ISTU side. The Chinese side was represented by Chairman of Jinan Zhishang Education Group Ni Xungang, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Weihai Marine Vocational College Zhou Chenkai, Dean of Electromechanical Faculty Yan Zyui Huai, Vice-Dean of Electromechanical Faculty Sai Siguan and Head of International Office of Weihai Marine Vocational College Hou Shiin

The welcoming speeches were made by Acting Rector of Kalashnikov ISTU Aleksandr Gubert and Chairman of Jinan Zhishang Education Group Ni Xungang. The parties expressed their confidence that the cooperation between both educational institutions will be dynamically developing not only in the educational sphere but also in the sphere of cultural exchanges and academic mobility of students and teaching staff.     

Implementation of the provisions of this agreement will allow our organizations to work out double degree programs following «3+1» scheme, which will give the opportunity for bachelors of Weihai Marine Vocational College to be granted a bachelor diploma of Kalashnikov ISTU.
